Time flys when your having fun!
I can't believe how this month has flown by. So much has happened to us the month of June. We first drove out to California to Gary and Sara's wedding. We had a blast of a time. Thanks for the Wiests for putting us up with a great place to stay to laugh and share in fond memories. We then came home and heard Great news that Icon wanted to hire Mike. We now are employed with Icon Health and Fitness located in Logan. Yes, Logan we have our house up for sale and are praying that the slot machine keeps "chachinging" in pooring out blessings to us and that we call have a buyer soon so that the kids can start school up in Logan. I have to tell you we are all excited about the new adventure that awaits us (even Hailey and Conner) but, my eyes have never ever had to set its sites on anything but Timp Mountain and G Mountain it will take my eyes time to adjust to a new set of Mountain scenery but I know this is going to be Great for us. We also celebrated another fun eventful Strawberry Days full of Rain, Rain, Rain and lots of laughter. I honestly can't remember it ever raining for good Ol' Strawberry Days but it was fun even if it was wet. I know me and the girls will always remember the rain for the childrens parade and rodeo and sitting on the merry go round waiting out the storm but at the same time wondering why the carni workers wouldn't give us a ride while we were waiting on the merry go round. Probably because it would have been a "free" ride and then the Mammoth Parade sitting in a small rain fall with wet blankets and happy kids from all the candy and free t-shirts and hats. I had a ball catching up with old friends and laughing NOW at how sick I got on the Sizzler dang I swear that ride was broken. I am not getting old. We also celebrated Maycie's 12th birthday at Gary and Sara's reception and had a mean 4 square game. Mike and I celebrated our 18th anniversary. WHOA! now that is old.

6 days in Minnisota with my sister and family
We had all waited for this day to arrive. The day me and my girls could fly out to Minnisota and visit the Mcmanus family and to see new baby Taylor "Cougar" he sure is a cutie. We had a fun time laughing and catching up with each other. Everyone asked what I thought of Minnisota. I thought it was fine but, I was there visiting Raquel those that lived there did a thumbs down. We enjoyed hanging out at their home spending some great time catching up. We went to a Zoo, and a outdoor habitat center we hit a few yard sales and visited the park on a daily basis. We also were kicked out of the material store but had a great time at the good will and diffently enjoyed good food and dilly bars. Most of all we enjoyed our time with Kel and her family. I can't wait till they come out for summer and most of all when they are done with residency, I am sure I am not the only one. Thanks for the fun and love.
June the month of Strawberry Days
I love the month of June. The time when the kids are out of school for the summer. Days of hitting the PG pool and looking forward to good ol' Strawberry Days and you can't forget the Rodeo, Yehaw! The best part though is seeing so many good friends and people you know around town and at the Strawberry Days events. I love being able to catch up and hug a bunch of dear friends that I haven't seen since maybe the last years Strawberry Day and heck lets face it I might even hug and give a shout out to those I don't even know. I laugh when I go out with our friends, I can be talking to someone or making a comment and they say who is that "heck if I know" now they ask "do you know them?" The only thing that could make it greater would be to have my sister Raquel and her family here to enjoy in the fun times and be part of the summertime memories. I can't wait to get a dozen bowl fulls of strawberrys and cream. I better have dropped 5 lbs by then. HA!

May already
Okay so 3 months have gone by. Raquel informed me I had better change and update my blog she said she was "sick of hearing christmas music" I felt dumb and then found out that it wasn't THAT bad I had February up. LOL! I just have been busy with what I don't know you would think my house would be alot cleaner and me alot skinner with me not updating my blog but no my home is still lived in and me well I have lost some weight but still want to loose more. Who doesn't want this.
We are still unemployed for all of those who don't know but we are still alive and surving this stage in our life. Mike is ready to jump out of his skin at times but he has been very dedicated to the Lord and to our family. I have really enjoyed seeing Mike grow spiritually and to bring our family up a bunch of notches in strengthening our family spritiually and mentally. We definatly have a great respect for others who are willing to give of their time and support and especially their kindness. I have a great love for service and have found myself as well as the rest of our family going out of our way to offer service to others. I think we are a pretty great family and that we probably needed this unemployement to enrich our family and our lives. Dang it. I have often heard people say that I am great at making lemonaide out of lemons. I am so glad that I was blessed with a smile and a big dose of patience and faith. I do feel it strengthening and feel grateful that we have been truly blessed and taken care of. I do feel a great love from our Savior and Heavenly Father and in return a great respect and love for them and feel that Mike and I have truely strengthened our relationship with them. For this I am thankful and know that we will be blessed with blessings unknown to us and at a unknown time.

Yeah, Yeah, I am a slow girl when it comes to my family blog but I truly am a dedicated mom and wife when it comes to my family. We had a great Christmas and New Years. We celebrated Haileys 14th Birthday and Sadies 3rd Birthday without any Binkis Yahoo! I think that was a gift in its self. I did have to do some fasting and praying before I attempted to get rid of it and let me remind all you how great fasting and prayers are along with alot of faith. Mike recently lost his job from Idaho tech. as you all remember a little over a year ago he had been layed off from BD so here we are in almost the same boat and let me tell you it is not much fun. Heavenly Father must have something great in our future, now if we can find it and fine tune our ears and hearts for the reception. We are getting ready to head to Mexico with all the family. We are so grateful that we have a great and close family who has helped us continue to go and enjoy in the family fun. I have to let you all know I feel very blessed to have been sent to such a wonderful family and to be able to have such a closeness with all. I feel it is funny that when things seem to be in a trying time that I can feel at peace and can feel my Heavenly Fathers present stronger. Times like these make us remember the extra and simple things we need to be doing to strengthen our lives on to better ourselves. I love you all and Thank You for your love.
